Reflection

Journaling prompts.

You do not need to write pages. Pick one prompt, set a timer for five minutes, and write honestly. There is no wrong answer, and no one else has to read it.

Morning intention

  • What is one thing I want to bring into today?
  • Where do I want to be gentle with myself?
  • What is the smallest useful thing I can do first?
  • Who might need a word from me today?
  • If today goes well, what will be true tonight?

Evening reflection

  • What is one thing I am glad happened today?
  • Where did I show up the way I wanted to?
  • Where did I fall short, and what would I do differently?
  • What did I learn about myself?
  • What can I let go of before sleep?

Working through a hard feeling

  • What am I actually feeling, in one word?
  • Where do I feel it in my body?
  • What story am I telling myself about this?
  • What would I say to a friend feeling this?
  • What is one small step that would help, even a little?

Gratitude without cliches

  • What is something small that worked in my favor today?
  • Who has quietly made my life easier this week?
  • What is a comfort I would miss if it were gone?
  • What is something about my body I am grateful for right now?
  • What is a memory that still makes me smile?

Values check-in

  • What matters most to me right now?
  • Where is my time going, and does that match?
  • What am I doing out of fear rather than choice?
  • What would the person I want to be do this week?
  • What is one thing I want to say yes to, and one thing I want to say no to?
